In an alternative reality back in the future, we have become one with technology as a way of survival. The sun has become a big dark star, which provides us with just enough heat to keep existing but leaves us with darker skies. Cities have become light shows around the habitable places on our earth.
After the Megiddo of the Middle time, the earth became a hostile place for living, The big survivors found a way to avoid human extinction, and we learned how to survive in an uninhabitable world.
Nat? Taylor? Chris? Valerie? No. We are survivors without names. The only names we know are the ones from big companies that control what remains of the earth. There are no more women or men, there are only identifiers numbers walking through the city, buying legal things, or selling illegal shit... and we live with that. Who am I? 014217. Nice to meet you.
You might be wondering "How can people live this way?"... Let me tell you, it is the only way. But don't be fooled, this is not a bad life, roads are in the air and long walks around the city feel like walking in a parade, that doesn't sound bad, right? And I still haven't told you how we evolve.
For now, the only thing I can say is that we are humans with no gender, religion, or race. We discovered a way to never forget, we hacked our brains and incorporated our bodies with tech improvements. We live forever, as always happened from the beginning of life until this moment... Now we know.
